Welcome to Skin & Joints

Advanced Skin, Aesthetic & Joint Care in Bristol

Skin & Joints by Vee Spandoni is an advanced non-surgical aesthetics clinic specialising in improving skin quality, structure, and visible signs of ageing. Our protocols address concerns such as changes in skin firmness, uneven tone, pigmentation, scarring, redness, and overall skin health, using a combination of injectable treatments, energy-based technologies, and structured Korean skin protocols. All care takes place within a calm, clinical setting in the heart of Bristol, with joint care offered as a separate, specialist service where appropriate.

The clinical approach is shaped by ongoing advanced training in South Korea, where aesthetic medicine is recognised globally for its precision, safety, and skin-first philosophy. These principles guide how the skin is assessed, how treatments are chosen, and how regeneration and natural-looking results are prioritised over overt correction.

Skin & Joints is led by Vee Spandoni MCSP, MSc, NMP, an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with a Master's degree in Aesthetic Medicine and postgraduate training in neuroscience and ultrasound-guided joint injections. This advanced training allows clinically proven Korean protocols to be integrated into UK practice where they offer meaningful benefit.

Every treatment plan is personalised and adaptable, supporting skin health, facial aesthetics, hair restoration, and joint care in a way that respects both the individual and the skin over time.

Our Skin & Aesthetic Solutions

At Skin & Joints, we take a solution-led approach to aesthetic medicine. Rather than offering isolated treatments, we create bespoke treatment plans based on skin condition, anatomy, and long-term goals — a philosophy strongly influenced by advanced Korean aesthetic practice.

Our treatments are grouped into clinical solution areas, allowing care to be personalised, layered, and adjusted over time.

Pigmentation, Skin Refinement & Energy-Based Treatments

Focused on improving uneven skin tone, melasma, sun damage, unwanted thread veins, enlarged pores, textural concerns, and skin firmness using precision technology and regenerative skin protocols.

Treatments are carefully selected to refine skin quality, stimulate collagen, and improve clarity without overcorrection. Where clinically appropriate, advanced energy-based technologies are combined with medical-grade skin-renewing treatments to support safe, effective, and long-term results.

This may include PICO laser technology, CO₂ fractional laser resurfacing, HIFU, and radiofrequency microneedling, always tailored to individual skin needs following a comprehensive consultation.

Treatment options may include platelet-rich plasma (PRP), high-purity plant-derived exosomes, and LED phototherapy, selected according to hair loss pattern, scalp condition, and individual goals.

All hair restoration plans are personalised following a comprehensive consultation to ensure treatments are appropriate, targeted, and aligned with long-term hair health.

The Benefits of MEDICAL Ultrasound in Aesthetics

Precision

Ultrasound guidance allows for accurate placement of fillers or other injectable medications, ensuring that the desired results are achieved with minimal risk of complications.

Safety

By visualizing the anatomy in real-time, ultrasound guidance helps to avoid important structures such as blood vessels and nerves, reducing the risk of injury during the procedure.

Customization

Ultrasound imaging allows practitioners to tailor the filler placement to the unique anatomy of each patient, ensuring a natural and harmonious result.

Reduced bruising and swelling

By avoiding blood vessels and minimizing trauma to the surrounding tissues, ultrasound-guided filler injections can lead to less bruising and swelling post-procedure.

Long-lasting results

With precise placement and optimal tissue integration, fillers administered under ultrasound guidance may have a longer duration of action compared to traditional injection techniques.

Patient satisfaction

By achieving more accurate and consistent results, patients are more likely to be satisfied with their outcomes, leading to higher patient retention and referrals.

 Versatility

Ultrasound guidance can be used for a wide range of filler treatments, including facial rejuvenation, volume restoration, and contouring procedures, making it a versatile tool for aesthetic practitioners

Founder & Clinical Director of Skin & Joints

I'm Vee, Founder and Clinical Director of Skin & Joints.

My approach to aesthetic medicine has been shaped as much by how I was trained, as by where. Alongside my background in physiotherapy and medical aesthetics in the UK, I have undertaken recurrent advanced training in South Korea, working with some of the world's leading doctors in regenerative and aesthetic medicine.

Korean aesthetic philosophy profoundly changed the way I practise.

It prioritises skin health over camouflage, structure over volume, and long-term tissue quality over quick results. Treatments are layered, thoughtful, and respectful of anatomy. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is excessive. This approach resonated deeply with me — both clinically and personally — and now underpins everything I do at Skin & Joints.

My most recent achievement is a Master's degree in Aesthetic Medicine. I began my clinical career as a neuro-rehabilitation physiotherapist before completing postgraduate training in Advanced Clinical Practice and Non-Medical Prescribing 15 years ago. This progression allowed me to work as an autonomous practitioner within primary care, managing complex conditions with a strong foundation in anatomy, function, and clinical decision-making. This background continues to inform how I approach aesthetic and skin treatments today.

Skin & Joints was created from a need for something different: a clinic where care is calm, precise, and considered. Where patients feel listened to, not judged. Where treatments are chosen because they are right — not because they are popular.

My Philosophy

For me, aesthetic medicine is not about changing faces.

It's about restoring balance, supporting the skin's ability to regenerate, and helping people feel more comfortable and confident in themselves over time. This is why I favour regenerative treatments, biostimulators, and carefully sequenced protocols, rather than aggressive or trend-led interventions.

Every patient is different. Every face carries a history. Every body tells a story.

I take time to understand that — your goals, your concerns, your lifestyle — before recommending anything. Whether we're working on skin quality, facial structure, hair restoration, or joint health, my focus is always the same: natural results, functional integrity, and long-term wellbeing.

I don't aim to change how you look.
I aim to help you feel refreshed, supported, and in control — with results that still feel like you.

FAQS ABOUT OUR CONSULTATIONS

1. Why are consultations necessary?

At our clinic, we prioritize your informed decision-making when it comes to cosmetic treatments. During our honest consultations, we will openly discuss your expectations and any potential risks involved.

2. What is the process for booking and securing appointments?

To ensure the best outcome for our patients, all first-time patients must have a consultation before receiving treatment. Some treatments can be done on the same day, while others may require separate appointments or staged appointments for more natural-looking results.

Before your treatment begins, a deposit is required.

This fee can be used as credit towards your treatment if it is suitable for you. Please note that this fee is non-refundable and will be held on your account for a period of 4 months. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, we kindly ask for a minimum of 48 hours' notice; otherwise, the fee will be forfeited.

Meeting Vee - what to expect?

Before Vee can have an honest consultation and assess if you're a suitable candidate for treatment, we need you to provide a detailed medical history and give consent for photos. During the consultation, you'll have an open discussion about your goals, the right treatment options for you, the potential benefits, and the possible risks or complications.

We encourage you to ask any questions and express your concerns freely. To ensure a safe and comfortable environment, we don't allow children in the clinic, and patients must come to appointments alone.

Conditions that prevent treatment

Before any consultation or treatment, we review your medical history. Conditions that prevent treatment include pregnancy, breastfeeding, recent facial surgery, and certain illnesses or treatments.

COVID and vaccinations

If you recently got a COVID-19 vaccine, booster, or any other vaccine in the past 4 weeks, or if you're scheduled for one, please let us know immediately. We can't provide dermal filler treatments 4 weeks before or after any vaccine, and 2 weeks before or after Botulinum toxin treatments.
